How to Mine a Cryptocurrency That Monitors Air Quality (and make ~$207/mo)

If you could buy a few, inexpensive items, plug them in, and let them run 24/7 to make around $207 per month… would you do it?

After learning about mining Helium Tokens (and now earning ~$230/mo mining HNT), I wanted to see if I could do something similar with another cryptocurrency.

Enter… PLANETs.

What is the PLANETS token?

The creators of the token, PlanetWatch.io, explain it like this, “Earn rewards and help us build a global air quality monitoring network to detect pollution hotspots and protect everyone’s health.”

Essentially, a person measures the air quality in their home, office, outdoors and gets rewarded for doing so.

Tools You’ll Need to Mine PLANETS

It took me a few days to figure out what was needed to mine the PLANETS token but I’ll sum up those tools so you don’t have to wait as long.

Before I continue, I have to disclose that for anyone living in the United States (like me), there is no actual way to “cash out” yet! However, I’m mining for the long-term.

I figure that as popularity increases on these tokens (like we saw with mining $HNT), more exchanges will start adding PLANETS to their roster.

The Helium token to 2 years to get there so if you want money now, this may not be the solution for you.

I’ve been mining PLANETS for about 19 days and so far I’ve mined 443.74 tokens. As it continues, by the end of the month, I will have mined 691 PLANETS, earning ~$207.
